Kalamango Wild is a wild ale that has been aged and soured in oak barrels with a healthy addition of kalamansi, a citrus fruit from the Philippines that features flavors of both lemon and tangerine, and mangoes, giving it a tart citrus flavor with a fruity, floral finish.
Fun Fact: If you're wondering why we have chosen to bypass the more common spelling of "calamansi" and spell it with a "k," the traditional Tagalog (the Philippines' native language) alphabet is missing a few letters of the English alphabet, including "c". "Kalamansi" is the more traditional Tagalog spelling for the fruit. To show support for our Filipino staff members, who show pride in their culture and heritage, we have adopted the "k" in "kalamansi."
