WebStore Orders: Pick-Up and Shipping

Orders designated for pick-up must be picked up in person at our Tasting Room in San Diego, CA within 30 days of purchase.  After receiving your order confirmation email, please wait for another email to notify you that your order is ready to be picked up.  Orders that have not been picked up after 30 days are subject to cancellation, merchandise returned to store inventory, and purchase refunded.

Orders designated for shipping are sent out weekly and you will receive tracking information via email when your order leaves our brewery.  Please keep in mind that shipping times can vary based on distance/location, so please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping.  If your item arrives damaged or defective, please reach out to us within 30 days for an exchange.

 

Gift Cards

You will receive a physical gift card in the mail (or pick-up in person), or if you would like us to mail the gift card directly to your intended recipient, please let us know in the comments section on the shopping cart page. Please include the recipient's name, mailing address, and an optional message.

  • Gift Cards, once activated, are treated as cash and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. 
  • Gift Card balances never expire and may be used for on-premise purchases only, in the Tasting Room and Gift Shop. 
  • Physical gift cards are not supported for online transactions at this time.  Digital gift cards are not currently available or supported.

  

Return Policy

Eligible returns and/or exchanges can be made within 30 days of purchase. Beyond that time frame, we cannot offer any refunds or exchanges. To be eligible for a return, exchange, or refund, the item must be defective or damaged upon receipt, unused and in the same condition that you received it, and must also be in the original packaging with original tags attached.  Please send your request to webstore@alesmith.com so that we can send you a return shipping label to send back the original item.  Upon approval, you will be notified and the refund will begin processing, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment (i.e. credit card) within 3-5 business days.

If for any reason, we are not able to offer the exact same item as a replacement, we will notify and offer you the choice to wait for a reorder of that item or to exchange for a similar item of the same value as replacement.  Please keep in mind that shipping times can vary based on distance/location, so it may take some time for us to receive and process items, and for new items to be delivered to the provided address.

Sale items
All sale and clearance items are final sale items and cannot be refunded.

 

Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first please check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at webstore@alesmith.com.
