Order Pick-Up
Orders designated for pick-up must be claimed in person at our Tasting Room in San Diego, CA within 30 days of purchase (or 30 days from release for pre-order items). Orders that have not been picked up after 30 days are subject to cancellation without refund. All orders require valid ID. If someone other than yourself will be picking up your order, please email webstore@alesmith.com beforehand; they must show valid ID.
Shipping Orders
Orders for Merchandise and Non-Alcoholic Beer are shipped from our San Diego brewery. Orders for these items may be shipped separately from each other and from orders for beer containing alcohol.
Beer shipments outside of California are fulfilled by a third-party shipper. Shipping costs, product availability, and shipping times may vary.
Shipping Orders are processed weekly and you will receive tracking information via email when your order is shipped. Orders may be adjusted without notice if items are out of stock or no longer available. To maximize shipping efficiently, please order cans in increments of 6, 12, or 24, and do not mix orders for cans with other items (merch, bottles, or mixed non-alcoholic and alcohol beer). Orders for odd numbers of cans may be adjusted without notice at our discretion.
Please keep in mind that shipping times can vary based on distance and location, so allow up to 2 weeks for shipping.
Gift Cards
Physical gift cards are not supported for online transactions at this time. Digital gift cards are not currently available or supported.
Return Policy
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days for replacement or exchange. Eligible returns and/or exchanges can be made within 30 days of purchase. Beyond that time frame, we cannot offer any refunds or exchanges. To be eligible for a return, exchange, or refund, the item must be defective or damaged upon receipt, unused and in the same condition that you received it, and must also be in any original packaging. Please send your request to webstore@alesmith.com so that we can send you a return shipping label to send back the original item. Upon approval, you will be notified and the refund will begin processing, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment (i.e. credit card) within 3-5 business days.
If for any reason we are not able to offer the exact same item as a replacement, we will notify you and offer you the option to wait for a reorder of that item or to exchange for a similar item of the same value as replacement. Please keep in mind that shipping times can vary based on distance and location, so it may take some time for us to receive and process items, and for new items to be delivered to the provided address.

Sale items
All sale and clearance items are final sale items and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund, please contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you have not received your refund, please contact us at webstore@alesmith.com.
